Home Of Pedigree Stud Dogs In Derbyshire

I had my first boxer in 1999 and was instantly hooked on the breed, having Staffordshire Bull Terriers previously, i was used to having a lively dog around the house. So in November 2000 i got Sasha & she was perfect, loving, playful, mischievous and protective, all rolled into one. A year and a half later i decided to get a playmate for Sasha, so i choose a dog this time and then tried my hand at showing. Simba was very lightly shown as he was a little irate around the other dogs and just starting out you dont want to be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

In April 2003 i had my affix granted this was made up by talking the first two parts of my surname (Dale Marshall-Curtis) and putting them together to make Marcurt

In November 2003 i bred my first litter, keeping two out of the litter, a red & white dog & a brindle & white bitch (Missy). These were to be my learning dogs. Not having a great deal practice at Champ show level the task in hand seemed very daunting. Picking up help & advice

from as many people as possible, both mine & the dogs performances slowly began to improve, & after a while i started to get placed at the odd show & even managed to qualify both dogs for Crufts. I was absolutely over the moon, unfortunately when Crufts came around Missy was in season & i had let Chip go.

Speaking to Sue Drinkwater (Sulez) & Julie Cook (Manic) at the Welsh Champ show, i told them of my interest at buying another dog in, Julie rang me that night & told me about a lady who had a litter sired by her dog, Manic Spin Doctor. Julie went over to to see if there was anything of show quality & thankfully there was & when i went over i came away with a dog & a bitch (Axel & Jazz). They have both been fantastic dogs for me & i cant thank Julie enough. Axel especially has achieved a lot of my goals & should he never get placed again i am so proud of what he has achieved. Both Axel & Jazz are firstly loving family members & are great with my children.

Julie also recommended me to a very smart bitch puppy which i went along and had a look at and decided to buy, she is also following in her half brother and half sisters footsteps by rarely being out of the cards.

Both myself & Amy are on the the committee of the Northern Boxer Club.I am also the Treasurer & the Northerns representative for the Boxer Breed Council. Since starting out in boxers we have had the pleasure of making some very good friends and hopefully many more to come.

I hope you enjoy your visit to my web site and call back soon.
